We have sold 105 lots in the past 180 days with several others being processed  perhaps due to the fact the government has completed the Causeway linking North and Middle Caicos together,  installed runway lights on the airport and has placed a new blacktop road in this year’s budget. We have sold 150 of the first 151 lots offered and we have built 9 villas both on and off the beach to date.  Three others are under construction. Five more are in the planning stages as well as a Supermarket,  3 Townhouse and a 32unit Rental Storage Facility to guard and protect your precious commodities when your off island.

We have sold eighteen additional lots in the past 45 days alone and so there is still unprecedented interest, perhaps due to the fact these prices will still allow dreamers, such as I,  to get in on the ground floor of a true tropical vacation paradise long before it becomes totally unaffordable and reserved only for the rich and famous..

 In addition, last year, the Government had signed contracts to build a deep-water port in North Caicos and confirmed its intentions to build the causeway linking North and Middle together. Construction on the deep-water port has commenced and is but one  month away from completion,  and the  Causeway is  now completed. Caicos Islanders celebrated their 2007 Easter Parade in a Truck & Car Caravan riding back and forth from North to Middle Caicos and vice versa for the first time in history.  Resurfacing of the blacktop road has been placed in this years budget and is slated for commencement on February 1st 2008. True to their word, they began scraping the road in Lorimers in preparation this past week.

Carnival Cruise lines has built a Cruise Terminal on Grand Turk and they have dredged a 35 foot  depth out of the ocean in an unprecedented 3-4 weeks and deposited 35 acres of fill eight feet deep on the south end of the island where its headquarters and facility  will be. A remarkable sight to say the least. Jimmy Buffet's Margeritaville is already finished and the first Cruise Ship has landed depositing 1800 anxious cruise ship aficionados wishing to be the first to explore this new destination hidden amongst the pearls of the Caribbean.
